A man died on Sunday in an attack by a tiger after he apparently entered its enclosure at a wildlife park in eastern China, the second such incident in six months.
The incident occurred at the Tiger Hill enclosure at Youngor Wildlife Park in Ningbo city, about 200 kilometres south of Shanghai.
The tiger was shot dead by the police. Video emerged online showing a tiger mauling a man in black clothing as visitors screamed in horror and two other tigers stood close by watching.
The tigers were eventually driven away by park staff using firecrackers and water cannon, said a report in the Beijing Youth Daily, which added that the man was rushed to hospital but later died.
